Abstract

Summarization of video content including football.

Claims

1. A method of processing a video comprising:

(a) a service provider identifying a plurality of hierarchically arranged summaries of said video;

(b) a service provider receiving a request for one of said summaries from a remote user and identifying a text-based description of the user-selected one of said plurality of summaries, said description generated by reference to the user-selected one of said plurality of summaries and including information other than a transcript of audio associated with said video; and

(c) said service provider providing the user-selected one of said plurality of summaries and said description to said remote user.

2. The method of claim 1, wherein said description is generated after said user requests one of said summaries.
