Abstract

A memory device is provided. The memory device includes a memory configured to store information. The memory device also includes a memory controller in communication with the memory. The memory controller is configured to encrypt the information to define a parameter and access an account on a second memory device based on the parameter to gain access to content. The content is stored in the second memory device and the memory device and the second memory device are configured to be removably coupled to a computing device.

Claims

1. A computing device, comprising:

a memory; and

a processor in communication with the memory, the processor being configured to;

retrieve information from a first memory device, the first memory device being configured to be removably coupled to the computing device,

generate a parameter based on the information, and

access an account on a second memory device based on the parameter to gain access to content stored in the second memory device, the second memory device being configured to be removably coupled to the computing device.

2. The computing device of claim 1, wherein the processor is further configured to retrieve a binding configuration from the content, the binding configuration being associated with the generation of the parameter and the access of the account.

3. The computing device of claim 1, wherein the first memory device is a smart card.

4. The computing device of claim 1, wherein the computing device is a mobile phone.

5. The computing device of claim 1, wherein the information is an identifier associated with a mobile phone.

6. The computing device of claim 1, wherein the parameter is a nonce, the nonce being configured for use in generating an authentication key.

7. The computing device of claim 1, wherein the parameter is an authentication key.

8. The computing device of claim 1, wherein the information is a network identifier.

9. A memory device, comprising:

a memory configured to store information; and

a memory controller in communication with the memory, the memory controller being configured to;

encrypt the information to define a parameter,

access an account on a second memory device based on the parameter to gain access to content stored in the second memory device,

wherein the memory device and the second memory device are configured to be removably coupled to a computing device.

10. The memory device of claim 9, wherein the memory controller is further configured to retrieve a binding configuration from the content, the binding configuration being associated with the encryption of the information and the access of the account.

11. The memory device of claim 9, wherein the parameter is an authentication key.

12. The memory device of claim 9, wherein the parameter is a nonce, the nonce being configured for use in generating an authentication key.

13. The memory device of claim 9, wherein the memory device is a subscriber identity module (SIM) card.

14. The memory device of claim 9, wherein the information is an International Mobile Subscriber Identity.

15. A system, comprising:

a subscriber identity module (SIM) card, the SIM card being configured to store an international mobile station identity (IMSI); and

a mobile phone removably coupled to the SIM card, the mobile phone comprising a memory and a processor, the processor being configured to;

retrieve the IMSI from the SIM card,

encrypt the IMSI based on a first cryptographic function to define a first credential,

encrypt the IMSI based on a second cryptographic function to define a second credential, and

transmit the first and second credentials to a memory device to gain access to an account on the memory device, the account being associated with content stored in the memory device.

16. The system of claim 15, wherein the access is gained by login to the account.

17. The system of claim 15, wherein the first credential is an account name associated with the account.

18. The system of claim 15, wherein the second credential is a password associated with the account.

19. A computing device, comprising:

a memory; and

a processor in communication with the memory, the processor being configured to;

receive a content, the content having a content type,

generate a binding configuration based on the content type, the binding configuration comprising an association of information from a first memory device with the content, and

store the binding configuration in the content.

20. The computing device of claim 19, wherein the first memory device is removably coupled to the computing device.

21. The computing device of claim 19, wherein the binding configuration is stored in a header of the content.

22. The computing device of claim 19, wherein binding configuration further comprises a location of the license.

23. The computing device of claim 19, wherein the content is stored in a second memory device, the second memory device being removably coupled to the computing device.

24. The computing device of claim 19, wherein the first memory device is a subscriber identity module (SIM) card.
