1. A liquid crystal display, comprising:

  • a first substrate;

    a second substrate parallel to the first substrate;

    a liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates;

    a resistivity sensor adjacent to the liquid crystal layer; and

    a driver configured to provide driving voltages to at least one of the first and second substrates;

    wherein the resistivity sensor detects a resistivity of the liquid crystal layer, and the driver compensates the driving voltages according to the resistivity of the liquid crystal layer.
