- printing a carpet of building material on a printing tray prior to printing an object, said carpet including one or more layers of modeling material and being printed below and/or around the base of said object, said carpet serving to prevent infiltration of air and/or radiation between the base of said object and said tray to prevent detachment of the object from the tray.

Abstract
A method to help control the quality of printed three-dimensional objects is provided. The method may include printing a carpet of building material on a printing tray below and/or around the base of an object prior to printing the object such that the carpet may include one or more layers of modeling material. According to embodiments of the invention the carpet is served to prevent infiltration of air and/or radiation between the base of the object and the tray to prevent detachment of the object from the tray.
