Abstract

In accordance with some embodiments, a plurality of outcomes are generated and used to create a video presentation of representative outcomes (e.g., for a roulette game) for one or more players. The video presentation is recorded onto a tangible medium (e.g., DVD or CD-ROM) or otherwise provided to one or more players (e.g., a player may access the video presentation online). This allows one or more players to purchase a video presentation of (e.g., predetermined) outcomes in a jurisdiction in which gambling is legal yet view the presentation at the player'"'"'s convenience (e.g., from any jurisdiction and at any time). At least one player who is associated with such a video presentation may subsequently redeem it for a redemption value associated therewith.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

generating an outcome of a game of chance conducted at a table;

capturing images of the outcome as it is generated;

storing a video record of the outcome;

delivering the video record to a player for subsequent playback; and

allowing the player to redeem any winnings associated with a wager placed by the player on the game of chance.

2. The method of claim 1 wherein generating the outcome comprises generating a plurality of outcomes.

3. The method of claim 1 wherein capturing the images comprises using a camera to capture the images.

4. The method of claim 1 wherein storing the video record comprises storing the video record on a server.

5. The method of claim 1 wherein delivering the video record comprises delivering a DVD to the player.

6. The method of claim 1 wherein delivering the video record comprises delivering the video record through the Internet.

7. The method of claim 1 wherein generating the outcome of the game of chance comprises generating the outcome at a roulette table.

8. The method of claim 1 wherein generating the outcome of the game of chance comprises generating the outcome at a blackjack table.

9. A system comprising:

a table adapted to conduct a game of chance;

a camera positioned relative to the table so as to capture images of outcomes of the game of chance conducted on the table; and

a server adapted to;

store captured images from the game of chance; and

assemble the captured images into a package for delivery to a player.

10. The system of claim 9 wherein the server is further adapted to deliver the package to the player through the Internet.

11. A method comprising:

generating an outcome of a game of chance conducted at a table;

creating a record of the outcome as it is generated;

storing a video record of the outcome;

delivering the video record to a player for subsequent playback; and

allowing the player to redeem any winnings associated with a wager placed by the player on the game of chance.
