Abstract
In a captured image outputting system, an image shot by an image capturing device is, upon shooting the image thereby, instantaneously transmitted to a display control device of a display system via wireless communication. The display system instantaneously projects the received image on a projection screen. The display system is comprised of a display device and a display control device. A liquid crystal projector may serve as the display device whereas an optional device, for use in wireless communication, connected to image input terminals of the liquid crystal projector may serve as the display control device. A digital still camera may serve as the image capturing device capable of carrying out wireless communication.

an image capturing control unit which captures an image of an object; a transfer processing unit which transmits the captured image to a display system via wireless communication; a specification setting unit which determines, prior to transmission of the image, specifications for an image to be transmitted, based on a display capacity of the display system, the determination being made through communication with the display system; a display unit which displays the captured image; and a reproduction control unit which instructs the display unit to display the captured image, upon the capturing of the image, wherein the transfer processing unit transmits the captured image to the display system upon the capturing of the image and almost simultaneously with display on the display unit.

25. A display system comprising:

a communication unit which receives a captured image from at least one of a plurality of image capturing devices via wireless communication; an object setting unit which sets the received image as an object of display; and a reproduction control unit which controls the output of the image set as an object of display, wherein the object setting unit determines whether the display of the received image is permitted or rejected based on a predetermined condition for permission related to priority for display, and the reproduction control unit outputs the image only if the display thereof is permitted by the determination.

The display system according to claim 26, wherein the object setting unit sets the condition for permission such that, for a predetermined period of time after an image is received and displayed, the display of subsequent images is rejected, and determines whether the display is permitted or rejected based on the condition thus set.

an image capturing control unit which captures an image of an object; a display unit which displays the captured image; a reproduction control unit which instructs the display unit to display the captured image, upon the capturing of the image; a transfer processing unit which transmits the captured image to a display system via wireless communication; and a status display unit which instructs the display unit to display information on the state of wireless communication between the image capturing device and the display system, and transmits the information on the state of communication to the display system via the transfer processing unit almost simultaneously with the display.
