Abstract
A system, method and apparatus for real time measurement and monitoring of various personal health parameters including controlled delivery of drugs/medications by intelligent pump appliances, intelligent inhalation appliances and intelligent skin patch appliances used in a standalone manner or in a wired or wireless networked configuration, in conjunction with various peripheral devices, other intelligent appliances, servers, RF ID Tags and stationary/mobile devices. The intelligent appliances relate to the measurement, monitoring and delivery of insulin/other drugs for the treatment of diabetes and other diseases. The method also additionally includes the application of intelligent appliances for pain management including visualization of organs and body locations exhibiting pain.

The device of claim 20, wherein the communication system is configured to communicate one or more of the medical data and the processed medical information to a remote device located one or more of on the user, in a home, in an office, and at a medical treatment facility, the remote device including one or more of a processor-based device, mobile device, wireless device, server, personal digital assistant (PDA), cellular telephone, wearable device, and portable computer (PC).

25. The device of claim 20, wherein the processed medical information is used for one or more of observation, research study, real time monitoring, periodic monitoring, correlation, diagnosis, treatment, database archival, communication, command, and control.

The device of claim 20, wherein the communication system is configured to communicate alert information in response to the processed medical information, wherein the alert information includes one or more of a message, a visual alert, an audible alert, and a vibratory alert communicated to the user, wherein the alert information includes one or more of voice data, text, graphics data, and multimedia information.

The device of claim 20, wherein configured to process medical data comprises correlating one or more of the medical data and processed medical information with categorical data of the user, wherein the categorical data includes one or more of data of an age category of the user, data of a body type of the user, and parametric data of the user.

The device of claim 20, comprising a delivery system coupled to the processor, the delivery system including at least one reservoir that contains at least one composition, the delivery system configured to administer at least one composition for use in treating the user, wherein the composition is administered under control of the processor and the processed medical information.
