Abstract

The disclosure details the implementation of apparatuses, methods, and systems for market generation and matches of importation and exportation transactions; i.e., a cross-border Facilitator (hereinafter “Facilitator”). Through its various components, the cross-border Facilitator creates new markets by generating and facilitating three stages of a cross-border trade transaction: identification, selection and execution. In one embodiment, the Facilitator manages the transaction by: creating a transaction “template” based on transaction information (i.e., HS product code, ISO country code, etc), alerting the buyer to potential problem areas, and updating of important upcoming dates and actions. The Facilitator creates all the required documents, integrates all events, including the service providers, and allows both parties to track the status of the transaction on-line at any time. In one embodiment, the Facilitator provides the user with a template to ensure all pertinent information is detailed, so that roles and responsibilities of the trading partners are clearly defined and transparent prior to engagement. The Facilitator has many numerous and revolutionary components to facilitate cross-border transactions, such as, but not limited to: a classification taxonomy, multi-lingual facilities, a search-enhancing thesaurus, an acquisition matrix core, a logistical fulfillment matrix, payment matrix, an elegant User Interface (UI), and/or the like.

Claims

1. A method for facilitating transactions comprising:

receiving a buyer'"'"'s access request that includes a new transaction record generation indicator;

generating a new transaction record;

receiving a search request from the buyer, wherein the request includes requested procurement and logistics transaction parameters;

generating search results based on the requested procurement and logistics transaction parameters;

receiving and processing buyer requested modifications to the presented procurement and logistics data parameters and determining whether elements of the transaction record need to be updated based on the buyer requested modifications;

updating transaction record elements to incorporate the buyer request modifications and displaying updated procurement and logistics transaction parameters;

receiving a payment facilitation indicator associated with the transaction;

transmitting a sales order to the buyer detailing the transaction parameters associated with the transaction;

receiving a buyer executed sales order detailing procurement;

generating a logistics effication milestone schedule based on logistics, procurement, and payment facilitation data detailed in the executed sales order;

effectuating the logistics solution detailed in the executed sales order, wherein the system establishes one or more goods transportation links for transporting the goods from the manufacturer to the buyer;

initiating a logistics milestone watchdog, wherein notifications are generated after each transaction milestone has been completed and verified;

facilitating a buyer driven or system driven payment facilitation process, wherein the system maintains a disbursement schedule and verifies each disbursement associated with the transaction is received; and

processing the transaction record to determine if transaction exception alerts were generated during the transaction.

2. The transaction facilitation method of claim 1, wherein the search results presented to the buyer exclude products that are inconsistent with both the requested procurement and logistics transaction parameters.

3. The transaction facilitation method of claim 2, wherein the requested logistics transaction parameters include a buyer designated product delivery window, wherein the system excludes search results that are not viable trading partners with the buyer designated product delivery location.

4. The transaction facilitation method of claim 3, wherein the requested logistics transaction parameters include one or more buyer designated product delivery location.

5. The transaction facilitation method of claim 4, wherein the system excludes search results that are not viable trading partners with the buyer designated product delivery location.

6. The transaction facilitation method of claim 5, further comprising:

displaying the product search results to the buyer in coordination with a logistics solution for the transaction that is determined based on a system default logistics solution parameter or a registered buyer'"'"'s logistics solution preference.

7. The transaction facilitation method of claim 6, wherein the displayed logistics solution is based on a system determined least expensive logistics solution;

a fastest logistics solution;

or a system determined balanced logistics solution.

8. The transaction facilitation method of claim 7, further comprising:

processing the transaction record associated with the pending transaction to determine whether the buyer has the option to order a product sample.

9. The transaction facilitation method of claim 8, further comprising:

saving a transaction record and a saved pending record date;

determining whether the transaction record has expired based on buyer inactivity; and

deleting the transaction record if the system determines the transaction record has expired.

10. The transaction facilitation method of claim 9, further comprising:

alerting the buyer regarding an impending transaction deletion prior to deleting the transaction record.

11. The transaction facilitation method of claim 10, wherein the buyer requested modifications involve shipping related data, re-accessing the logistics solution to verify that the requested changes have not also changed initial logistics solution.

12. A method for facilitating transactions comprising:

receiving a buyer'"'"'s access request that includes a pending transaction record retrieval indicator;

retrieving and processing the pending transaction record;

receiving a pending transaction parameter change request or a supplemental search request from the buyer, wherein the request includes requested procurement and logistics transaction parameter modifications or additional parameters;

generating search results based on the requested modifications or supplemental procurement and logistics transaction parameters;

interacting with the buyer to finalize requested modifications or supplemental procurement and logistics data parameters;

updating transaction record elements to incorporate the buyer request modifications or supplemental data associated with the transaction;

receiving a payment facilitation indicator associated with the transaction;

transmitting a sales quote to the buyer detailing the updated transaction parameters associated with the transaction;

receiving a buyer finalized purchase order;

generating a logistics effication milestone schedule based on logistics, procurement, and payment facilitation data detailed in the finalized purchase order;

effectuating the logistics solution detailed in the finalized purchase order, wherein the system establishes one or more goods transportation links for transporting the goods from the manufacturer to the buyer;

initiating a logistics milestone watchdog, wherein notifications are generated after each transaction milestone has been completed and verified;

facilitating a buyer driven or system driven payment facilitation process, wherein the system maintains a disbursement schedule and verifies each disbursement associated with the transaction is received; and

processing the transaction record to determine if transaction exception alerts were generated during the transaction.

The transaction facilitation method of claim 12, wherein the search results presented to the buyer exclude products that are inconsistent with both the requested modified or supplemental procurement and logistics transaction parameters, wherein the requested logistics modified or supplemental transaction parameters include an updated buyer designated product delivery window.

14. The transaction facilitation method of claim 13, wherein the system excludes search results that are not viable trading partners with the buyer designated product delivery location.

15. The transaction facilitation method of claim 14, wherein the requested logistics transaction parameters include one or more buyer designated product delivery location.

16. The transaction facilitation method of claim 15, wherein the system excludes search results that are not viable trading partners with the buyer designated product delivery location.

17. The transaction facilitation method of claim 16, further comprising:

displaying the product search results to the buyer in coordination with a logistics solution for the transaction that is determined based on a system default logistics solution parameter or a registered buyer'"'"'s logistics solution preference.

18. The transaction facilitation method of claim 17, wherein the displayed logistics solution is based on a system determined least expensive logistics solution;

a fastest logistics solution;

or a system determined balanced logistics solution.

19. The transaction facilitation method of claim 18, further comprising:

processing the transaction record associated with the pending transaction to determine whether the buyer has the option to order a product sample.

20. The transaction facilitation method of claim 19, further comprising:

saving a transaction record and a saved pending record date;

determining whether the transaction record has expired based on buyer inactivity; and

deleting the transaction record if the system determines the transaction record has expired.

21. The transaction facilitation method of claim 20, further comprising:

alerting the buyer regarding an impending transaction deletion prior to deleting the transaction record.

23. An apparatus for facilitating transactions comprising:

a processor;

a memory in communication with the processor and containing program instructions;

an input and output in communication with the processor and memory;

wherein the processor executes program instructions contained in the memory and the program instructions comprise;

receiving a buyer'"'"'s access request that includes a new transaction record generation indicator;

generating a new transaction record;

receiving a search request from the buyer, wherein the request includes requested procurement and logistics transaction parameters, wherein the requested logistics transaction parameters include a buyer designated product delivery window, wherein the system excludes search results that are not viable trading partners with the buyer designated product delivery location;

generating search results based on the requested procurement and logistics transaction parameters, wherein the search results presented to the buyer exclude products that are inconsistent with both the requested procurement and logistics transaction parameters;

receiving and processing buyer requested modifications to the presented procurement and logistics data parameters and determining whether elements of the transaction record need to be updated based on the buyer requested modifications;

updating transaction record elements to incorporate the buyer request modifications and displaying updated procurement and logistics transaction parameters;

receiving a payment facilitation indicator associated with the transaction;

transmitting a sales order to the buyer detailing the transaction parameters associated with the transaction;

receiving a buyer executed sales order detailing procurement;

generating a logistics effication milestone schedule based on logistics, procurement, and payment facilitation data detailed in the executed sales order;

effectuating the logistics solution detailed in the executed sales order, wherein the system establishes one or more goods transportation links for transporting the goods from the manufacturer to the buyer;

initiating a logistics milestone watchdog, wherein notifications are generated after each transaction milestone has been completed and verified;

facilitating a buyer driven or system driven payment facilitation process, wherein the system maintains a disbursement schedule and verifies each disbursement associated with the transaction is received; and

processing the transaction record to determine if transaction exception alerts were generated during the transaction.

24. An apparatus for facilitating transactions comprising:

a processor;

a memory in communication with the processor and containing program instructions;

an input and output in communication with the processor and memory;

wherein the processor executes program instructions contained in the memory and the program instructions comprise;

receiving a buyer'"'"'s access request that includes a pending transaction record retrieval indicator;

retrieving and processing the pending transaction record;

receiving a pending transaction parameter change request or a supplemental search request from the buyer, wherein the request includes requested procurement and logistics transaction parameter modifications or additional parameters;

generating search results based on the requested modifications or supplemental procurement and logistics transaction parameters, wherein the search results presented to the buyer exclude products that are inconsistent with both the requested modified or supplemental procurement and logistics transaction parameters, wherein the requested logistics modified or supplemental transaction parameters include an updated buyer designated product delivery window;

interacting with the buyer to finalize requested modifications or supplemental procurement and logistics data parameters;

updating transaction record elements to incorporate the buyer request modifications or supplemental data associated with the transaction;

processing the transaction record associated with the pending transaction to determine whether the buyer has the option to order a product sample;

receiving a payment facilitation indicator associated with the transaction;

transmitting a sales quote to the buyer detailing the updated transaction parameters associated with the transaction;

receiving a buyer finalized purchase order;

generating a logistics effication milestone schedule based on logistics, procurement, and payment facilitation data detailed in the finalized purchase order;

effectuating the logistics solution detailed in the finalized purchase order, wherein the system establishes one or more goods transportation links for transporting the goods from the manufacturer to the buyer;

initiating a logistics milestone watchdog, wherein notifications are generated after each transaction milestone has been completed and verified;

facilitating a buyer driven or system driven payment facilitation process, wherein the system maintains a disbursement schedule and verifies each disbursement associated with the transaction is received; and

processing the transaction record to determine if transaction exception alerts were generated during the transaction.

25. A processor accessible medium for facilitating transactions comprising:

receive a buyer'"'"'s access request that includes a new transaction record generation indicator;

generate a new transaction record;

receive a search request from the buyer, wherein the request includes requested procurement and logistics transaction parameters;

generate search results based on the requested procurement and logistics transaction parameters;

receive and process buyer requested modifications to the presented procurement and logistics data parameters and determine whether elements of the transaction record need to be updated based on the buyer requested modifications;

update transaction record elements to incorporate the buyer request modifications and display updated procurement and logistics transaction parameters;

receive a payment facilitation indicator associated with the transaction;

transmit a sales order to the buyer detailing the transaction parameters associated with the transaction;

receive a buyer executed sales order detailing procurement;

generate a logistics effication milestone schedule based on logistics, procurement, and payment facilitation data detailed in the executed sales order;

effectuate the logistics solution detailed in the executed sales order, wherein the system establishes one or more goods transportation links for transporting the goods from the manufacturer to the buyer;
