Abstract

A computer readable medium having computer executable instructions stored thereon is disclosed, the computer executable instructions providing a method for displaying documents, the method comprising enabling a first document array comprising a group of documents, displaying the first document array, selecting a first attribute among at least one attribute associated with at least one document from the group of documents, enabling a second document array, the second document array comprising a group of documents at least partially based on the first attribute and displaying the second document array parallel or non-parallel with the first document array.

Claims

1. A computer readable medium having computer executable instructions stored thereon, the computer executable instructions providing a method for displaying documents, the method comprising:

enabling a first document array comprising a group of documents;

displaying the first document array;

selecting a first attribute among at least one attribute associated with at least one document from the group of documents;

enabling a second document array, the second document array comprising a group of documents at least partially based on the first attribute; and

displaying the second document array non-parallel with the first document array.

2. The computer readable medium of claim 1, wherein at least one of the documents is adapted to be graphically displayed on at least one of the document arrays.

3. The computer readable medium of claim 2, wherein the first attribute is adapted to be associated with a graphical display of the at least one of the documents and the first attribute being selectable by selecting the graphical display of the at least one of the documents.

4. The computer readable medium of claim 1, wherein the second document array is adapted to be orthogonally displayed with the first document array.

5. The computer readable medium of claim 1, wherein the first document array is not displayed simultaneously with the second document array.

6. The computer readable medium of claim 1, comprising associating an extrinsic attribute with a document.

7. The computer readable medium of claim 1, wherein a graphical representation of the first attribute is displayed in graphical cooperation with its associated document.

8. The computer readable medium of claim 7, wherein the graphical representation of the first attribute is adapted to have a selected graphical representation and a non-selected graphical representation.

9. The computer readable medium of claim 1, further comprising

selecting a second attribute;

enabling a third document array comprising a group of documents at least partially based on the second attribute; and

displaying the third document array non-parallel with at least one of the first document array and the second document array.

10. A computer readable medium having computer executable instructions stored thereon, the computer executable instructions providing a method for displaying documents, the method comprising:

enabling a first document array comprising a group of documents;

displaying the first document array;

selecting a first attribute among the at least one attribute associated with at least one document from the group of documents;

enabling a second document array, the second document array comprising a group of documents at least partially based on the first attribute associated; and

displaying the second document array parallel with the first document array.

11. The computer readable medium of claim 10, wherein at least one of the documents is adapted to be graphically displayed on at least one of the document arrays.

12. The computer readable medium of claim 11, wherein the first attribute is adapted to be associated with a graphical display of the at least one of the documents and the first attribute being selectable by selecting the graphical display of the at least one of the documents.

13. The computer readable medium of claim 10, comprising associating an extrinsic attribute with a document.

14. The computer readable medium of claim 10, wherein a graphical representation of the first attribute is displayed in graphical cooperation with its associated document.

16. The computer readable medium of claim 10, further comprising

selecting a second attribute;

enabling a third document array comprising a group of documents at least partially based on the second attribute; and

displaying the third document array in substantial parallel arrangement with at least one of the first document array and the second document array.

15. The computer readable medium of claim 15, wherein the graphical representation of the first attribute is adapted to have a selected graphical representation and a non-selected graphical representation.
