21. A method of detecting a touch area on a display device including a display panel for displaying display data representative of a display image and a plurality of synchronized capture devices assembled with the display panel, the method comprising:

substantially simultaneously capturing first, second, third and fourth captured images of the touched display panel using corresponding ones of the synchronized captured devices; and comparing the display data with each of the first and second captured images to detect a touch area on the display panel.
