1. A cable assembly including a fiber optic cable and at least one network access point positioned on the cable at which at least one optical fiber within the cable is accessed and preterminated, the cable assembly comprising:
- a tether adapted to be selectively extended relative to the network access point and including at least one tether optical fiber therein that is optically connected to the at least one preterminated optical fiber; and
a tether storage member for storing at least a portion of the tether therein, wherein the tether portion is moveable therein;
wherein at least one of the at least one preterminated optical fiber and the at least one tether optical fiber comprises a bend performance optical fiber.
