Abstract

Disclosed is a method and system for providing an energy gathering sheet to harness and provide energy to homes, businesses, and/or a utility grid. The energy gathering sheet is configured to receive solar or wind energy gathering devices or any combination thereof. The very small energy gathering devices (micrometer to nanometer range) are mounted onto a single installation sheet for the purposes of creating efficient and complimentary clean energy power to meet both small and large power demands. The single sheet of installable solar panels and/or wind turbines may be loosely rolled or stacked in sheets to protect the integrity of the solar panels and wind turbines. The single sheet is capable of being rolled out for efficient installations.

Claims

1. An energy gathering sheet, comprising:

a sheet having circuit connections configured to receive a plurality of energy devices, the sheet electrically connecting to and providing energy to a destination.

2. The energy gathering sheet of claim 1 wherein the destination includes roadway system electricity grids, residential homes, and businesses.

3. The energy gathering sheet of claim 1 wherein the plurality of energy devices include wind energy generating devices, solar energy generating devices, or any combination thereof.

4. The energy gathering sheet of claim 3 wherein sizes of the wind and solar energy generating devices are in the range of micrometers to nanometers.

5. The energy gathering sheet of claim 1 further comprising:

an energy storage unit configured to store the energy harnessed by the plurality of energy devices;

a processing unit configured to process information of the energy gathering sheet;

a transmitter configured to transmit the information of the energy gathering sheet to a reporting system;

a receiver configured to receive other information from the reporting system; and

an anchoring system configured to anchor the sheet to a desired surface.

6. The energy gathering sheet of claim 5 wherein the information includes stored energy amount in the energy storage unit.

7. The energy gathering sheet of claim 5 wherein the anchoring system is clamped, locked, interlocked, glued, painted on, otherwise adhered or magnetized onto the desired surface.

8. The energy gathering sheet of claim 1 wherein the sheet is capable of being in a rolled up or stacked up position with or without the plurality of energy devices.

9. The energy gathering sheet of claim 1 wherein the sheet is formed of layers comprising a polymer, metal, trapped air, trapped gas, trapped fluid, or any combination thereof.

10. The energy gathering sheet of claim 1 wherein the sheet is capable of being coupled to other sheets.

11. A method for providing an energy gathering system in an energy roadway system, the method comprising:

providing a sheet having circuit connections configured to receive a plurality of energy devices, the sheet electrically connecting to and providing energy to a destination.

12. The method according to claim 11 wherein electrically connecting includes connecting and providing to roadway system electricity grids, residential homes, and businesses.

13. The method according to claim 11 wherein receiving the plurality of energy devices includes providing wind energy generating devices, solar energy generating devices, or any combination thereof.

14. The method according to claim 13 wherein providing the wind and solar energy generating devices are in the micrometer and nanometer sizes.

15. The method according to claim 11 further comprising:

storing the energy harnessed by the plurality of energy devices;

processing information of the energy gathering system;

transmitting the information of the energy gathering system to a reporting system;

receiving other information from the reporting system;

anchoring the sheet to a desired surface; and

coupling the sheet to other sheets.

16. The method according to claim 15 wherein processing the information of the energy gathering system includes tracking stored energy level.

17. The method according to claim 15 wherein anchoring includes clamping, locking, interlocking, gluing, painting on, otherwise adhering or magnetizing onto the desired surface.

18. The method according to claim 11 wherein providing the sheet includes rolling or stacking the sheet in a rolled up or stacked up position, respectively with or without the plurality of energy devices.

19. The method according to claim 11 wherein the sheet is formed of layers comprising one or more polymers, metal, trapped air, trapped gas, trapped fluid, or any combination thereof.

20. An energy gathering system comprising:

means for gathering energy including any combination of wind energy and solar energy, the energy gathering means converting harnessed energy into storable electrical energy; and

sheet means configured to physically and electrically receive the energy gathering means and to deliver the storable electrical energy to a desired destination, the sheet means being installable into an energy roadway system.
