Abstract

A bidding system for a mobile device includes a database module for selecting a target audience including a plurality of registered customers to deliver content, a streaming module connected to the database module for serving content to the plurality of registered customers, and a priority module connected to the streaming module for implementing a content delivery schedule. The database module assists a user in identifying a product or service to offer to the plurality of registered customers, assists the user in matching the product or service to the selected plurality of registered customers, and assists the user in designating an auction parameter applicable to the product or service offered. The streaming module delivers an auction notification to a registered customer via the mobile device. The registered customer enables the delivery of a content program including auction data to the mobile device according to a schedule implemented by the priority module.

Claims

1. A bidding system for a mobile device, comprising:

a database module for selecting a target audience including a plurality of registered customers to deliver content;

a streaming module connected to the database module for serving content to the plurality of registered customers; and

a priority module connected to the streaming module for implementing a content delivery schedule, wherein;

the database module assists a user in identifying a product or service to offer to the plurality of registered customers, assists the user in matching the product or service to the selected plurality of registered customers, and assists the user in designating an auction parameter applicable to the product or service offered,

the streaming module delivers an auction notification to a registered customer via the mobile device, whereupon if the registered customer elects to participate in an auction, the registered customer enters a PIN on the mobile device to enable the delivery of a content program including auction data to the mobile device according to a schedule implemented by the priority module, wherein the auction data;

includes a content notification to inform the registered customer that the content program is interactive in nature, and

enables the registered customer to establish a direct link with the user for discussing the product or service.

2. The bidding system of claim 1, wherein the mobile device further includes a cellular phone, personal desktop assistant (PDA), or laptop computing device.

3. The bidding system of claim 1, wherein the direct link established with the user provides for voice communication between the registered customer and the user.

4. The bidding system of claim 1, wherein subsequent to the delivery of the content program, the registered customer enters a bid on the mobile device which is transmitted to the database module.

5. The bidding system of claim 4, wherein subsequent to the registered customer entering a bid on the mobile device, the streaming module delivers a winning bid notification to the registered customer.

6. The bidding system of claim 1, wherein the content program further includes video, audio, sounds, vibrations, or a combination thereof.

7. A method for implementing a bidding system for a mobile device, comprising:

identifying a product or service to offer to a plurality of registered customers;

matching the product or service to the selected plurality of registered customers;

designating an auction parameter applicable to the product or service offered,

delivering an auction notification to a registered customer via the mobile device

registering a PIN entered by the registered customer on the mobile device to enable the delivery of a content program including auction data to the mobile device according to an implemented schedule, the auction data;

including a content notification to inform the registered customer that the content program is interactive in nature, and

enabling the registered customer to establish a direct link with a user for discussing the product or service.

8. The method of claim 7, wherein the mobile device further includes a cellular phone, personal desktop assistant (PDA), or laptop computing device.

9. The method of claim 7, wherein the direct link established with the user provides for voice communication between the registered customer and the user.

10. The method of claim 7, wherein subsequent to the delivery of the content program, the registered customer enters a bid on the mobile device which is transmitted to the database module.

11. The method of claim 10, wherein subsequent to the registered customer entering a bid on the mobile device, the streaming module delivers a winning bid notification to the registered customer.

12. The method of claim 7, wherein the content program further includes video, audio, sounds, vibrations, or a combination thereof.

13. A gift registry system for a mobile device, comprising:

a database module for storing a plurality of gift registry data which is selectable by a registered customer;

a streaming module connected to the database module for serving content to the plurality of registered customers; and

a priority module connected to the streaming module for implementing a predetermined content delivery schedule, wherein;

the database module receives a sharing permission from the registered customer, and provides the registered customer with a plurality of associated gift registries via the mobile device, whereupon the registered customer selects one of the plurality of registries using the mobile device,

the streaming module delivers the selected registry to the registered customer, the selected registry including a plurality of goods or services, whereupon the registered customer selects one of the goods or services, and

the priority module implements the predetermined content delivery schedule to deliver matched content to the registered customer based on the goods or services selected.

14. The gift registry system of claim 13, wherein the mobile device further includes a cellular phone, personal desktop assistant (PDA), or laptop computing device.

15. The gift registry system of claim 13, wherein the sharing permission is obtained by the registered customer entering a PIN on the mobile device which is transmitted to the database module.

16. The gift registry system of claim 13, wherein the associated gift registries are organized by name, type, organization, or event by the database module.

17. The method claim 13, wherein the matched content further includes video, audio, sounds, vibrations, or a combination thereof.

18. A method for implementing a gift registry system for a mobile device, comprising:

receiving a sharing permission from a registered customer;

providing the registered customer with a plurality of associated gift registries which is delivered to the mobile device, whereupon the registered customer selects one of the plurality of registries using the mobile device;

delivering the selected registry to the registered customer, the selected registry including a plurality of goods or services selectable by the registered customer; and

implementing a predetermined content delivery schedule to deliver matched content to the registered customer based on the goods or services selected.

19. The method of claim 18, wherein the mobile device further includes a cellular phone, personal desktop assistant (PDA), or laptop computing device.

20. The method of claim 18, wherein the sharing permission is obtained by the registered customer entering a PIN on the mobile device.

21. The method of claim 18, wherein the associated gift registries are organized by name, type, organization, or event.

22. The method claim 18, wherein the content program further includes video, audio, sounds, vibrations, or a combination thereof.
