Abstract

Provided is a method for real-time video blogging, including creating and entering comments in real-time by a plurality of terminals accessing a blog; uploading the created and entered comments to a server providing the blog by the terminals; converting the uploaded comments to separate descriptor files and storing the descriptor files in a blog file by the server; and downloading and playing the blog file containing the descriptor files from the server by the terminals.

Claims

1. A system for interactive video blogging, including:

a server providing a blog, converting comments attached to a blog file to separate descriptor files and storing the descriptor files and the blog file;

a plurality of terminals uploading the comments, and downloading and playing the descriptor files attached to the blog file.

2. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the terminals are capable of downloading the blog file and the descriptor files attached to the blog file at the same time.

3. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the comments have a text form, an audio form, or an audio-video form.

4. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein access to the blog is controlled by a user permission.

5. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the terminals select a comment from the blog file by using the description files and play the comment.

6. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the terminals add an audio comment, a video comment, or a text comment with regard to a specific portion of the blog.

7. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein, in a case where the blog file is a video blog file, the terminals uploading the comments further comprises creating and entering the comments in a text form, an audio form, or an audio-video form at a predetermined point of time while the video blog is played.

8. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the descriptor files comprise respective entered comments or all comments entered while a predetermined session is connected.

9. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the descriptor files comprise a data area for storing the comments and a metadata area for defining a type of the comments.

10. The system as claimed in claim 9, wherein the data area comprises text comments, audio comments, video comments, or a combination thereof created in a compressed or encoded form.

11. The system as claimed in claim 1, wherein the terminals uploading the comments further comprises creating and entering the comments while the blog is played.

12. A method for interactive video blogging, comprising the steps of:

uploading comments attached to a blog file by a terminal accessed to a server providing the blog file;

converting the uploaded comments to separate descriptor files and storing the descriptor files and the blog file by the server; and

downloading and playing the blog file containing the descriptor files from the server or only the selected descriptor files by the terminals.

13. The method as claimed in claim 12, wherein the comments have a text form, an audio form, or an audio-video form.

14. The method as claimed in claim 12, wherein access to the blog is controlled by a user permission.

15. The method as claimed in claim 12, further comprising, after the step of downloading and playing, selecting a comment from the blog file by using the description files and playing the comment by the terminals.

16. The method as claimed in claim 12, further comprising, after the step of downloading and playing, adding an audio comment, a video comment, or a text comment with regard to a specific portion of the blog.

17. The method as claimed in claim 12, wherein, in the step of uploading the comments, in a case where the blog file is a video blog file, the comments are created and entered in a text form, an audio form, or an audio-video form at a predetermined point of time while the video blog is played.

18. The method as claimed in claim 12, wherein the descriptor files comprise respective entered comments or all comments entered while a predetermined session is connected.

19. The method as claimed in claim 12, wherein the descriptor files comprise a data area for storing the comments and a metadata area for defining a type of the comments.

20. The method as claimed in claim 12, wherein the data area comprises text comments, audio comments, video comments, or a combination thereof created in a compressed or encoded form.

21. The method as claimed in claim 12, wherein, in the step of uploading the comments, the comments are created and entered while the blog is played.

22. The method as claimed in claim 12, further comprising, after the step of downloading and playing, selecting a comment from the blog file by using the description files and playing the comment by the terminals.
