1. A method implemented by a computing device for preventing delivery of certain cellular telephone messages, the method comprising:

  • filtering cellular telephone messages by;

    detecting an incoming cellular telephone message for delivery to a receiver;

    determining source identification information for the incoming cellular telephone message;

    comparing the source identification information for the incoming cellular telephone message with source identification entries in an acceptable senders list, the acceptable senders list comprising source identification information corresponding to previous incoming and outgoing voice contacts by the receiver; and

    if the source identification information for the incoming cellular telephone message is not found when comparing the source identification entries in the acceptable senders list, deleting the cellular telephone message from a memory to prevent delivery of the cellular telephone message to the receiver.
