Abstract

The present invention relates to music device pocket on a shirt or pants or other garment that includes an external pocket attached to one sleeve of the shirt or pants and adapted to receive a music device like a popular IPod™ and where the pocket forms a cavity on the shirt sleeve with a rear surface and a top surface and where the top surface of the pocket contains one or more windows that allow a user to access the music device, and where the rear surface or the pocket contains a hole allowing earphone wires from the music device to pass through the garment and run to the earphones. The pocket can have an optional second window to allow access to the controls of the music device. Fabric loops or clips can be sewed or mounted inside the shirt or pants to hold the earphone wires as they pass from the device to the earphones.

Claims

6. A music device pocket on a garment comprising:

an external pocket attached to said garment and adapted to receive a music device, said pocket forming a cavity on said garment with an a rear surface and a top surface;

wherein said top surface of said pocket contains at least one window allowing continuous viewing of a display screen on said music device; and

,

wherein said rear surface contains a hole allowing earphone wires from said music device to pass through said garment.

7. The music device pocket of claim 6 further comprising a second window on said top surface of said pocket allowing further access to said music device.

8. The music device pocket of claim 6 further comprising sewed loop devices inside said garment for routing of said earphone wires.

9. The music device pocket of claim 6 wherein said pocket is made of a material similar to said shirt.

10. The music device pocket of claim 6 wherein said garment is a pair of pants.

11. The music device pocket of claim 6 wherein said garment is a shirt.

12. A method of carrying an electronic music device on a garment comprising the steps of:

sewing an external pocket on a sleeve of a shirt or a leg of a pants adapted to receive and contain an electronic music device;

placing a hole in said garment behind said external pocket allowing penetration from inside said pocket to inside said garment;

placing a window on an outside surface of said pocket allowing continuous viewing of a display screen on a side surface of said electronic music device.

1. A music device pocket on a shirt comprising:

an external pocket attached to one sleeve of said shirt and adapted to receive a music device, said pocket forming a cavity on said shirt sleeve with a rear surface and a top surface;

wherein said top surface of said pocket contains at least one window allowing continuous viewing of a selection display screen on a side surface of said music device.

2. The music device pocket of claim 1 wherein said rear surface contains a hole allowing earphone wires from said music device to pass through said garment.

3. The music device pocket of claim 1 further comprising a second window on said top surface of said pocket allowing further access to said music device.

4. The music device pocket of claim 1 further comprising sewed loop devices inside said shirt for routing of said earphone wires.

5. The music device pocket of claim 1 wherein said pocket is made of a material similar to said shirt.

13. The method of claim 12 further comprising the step of placing a second window on said outside surface of said pocket allowing further access to said electronic music device.

14. The method of claim 12 wherein said pocket matches said shirt or pants.

15. The method of claim 13 wherein said attachments are fabric loops.

16. The method of claim 12 wherein said hole and said window is seamed to prevent raveling.

17. The method of claim 12 wherein said electronic music device is completely contained in said pocket.

13-1. The method of claim 12 further comprising the step of placing attachments inside said garment to hold an earphone wire.
