1. A mobile terminal for providing a location positioning service for a target area, comprising:

  • a controller configured to request a SUPL position initiation request message to a server of a first network during an on going periodic or area event session with a second network, to receive a SUPL end message from the first network server including a parameter indicating that a reason for sending the SUPL end message is no coverage, and to transmit a SUPL triggered start message to the first network server, the SUPL triggered start message including a parameter indicating a cause for sending the SUPL triggered start message is no coverage,the controller configured to receive a SUPL triggered response message including at least one new trigger parameter associated with a third network from the first network server, and to continue to perform a periodic or area event session with the third network using the received at least one new trigger parameter.
