Abstract
The present invention is a system for and method of training an individual on the use of a hearing aid. The training is conducted based on the individuals hearing profile such that specific words that are troublesome to the user are played to the user after changing the frequency and amplitude of the words, i.e. the user is trained on how the words will sound after wearing a hearing aid. The user can further fine-tune the frequency and amplitude of the words, and the modifications can be saved and used while ordering and fitting a hearing aid.

5. A method of training an individual to use a hearing aid based on hearing loss characteristics of the individual, the method comprising the steps of:
