Abstract

In embodiments, the present invention provides a method and system for receiving a search keyword from an offline advertisement, entering the search keyword in a mobile communication facility search facility, and presenting content relating to the offline advertisement to the mobile communication facility based at least in part on the search keyword and a relevancy to a criterion associated with the mobile communication facility.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

receiving a search keyword from an offline advertisement;

entering the search keyword in a mobile communication facility search facility;

presenting content relating to the offline advertisement to the mobile communication facility based at least in part on the search keyword and a relevancy to a criterion associated with the mobile communication facility.

2. The method of claim 1 wherein the keyword is associated with a search vertical.

3. The method of claim 1 wherein the offline advertisement is a magazine advertisement.

4. The method of claim 1 wherein the offline advertisement is a television advertisement.

5. The method of claim 1 wherein the offline advertisement is a radio advertisement.

6. The method of claim 1 wherein the offline advertisement is a mailed advertisement.

7. The method of claim 1 wherein the offline advertisement is a billboard.

8. The method of claim 1 wherein the criterion is a mobile subscriber characteristic.

9. The method of claim 1 wherein the criterion is a usage history.

10. The method of claim 9 wherein the usage history is a browse history.

11. The method of claim 1 wherein the criterion is a user transaction.

12. The method of claim 1 wherein the criterion is a location.

13. The method of claim 1 wherein the relevance is based at least in part on an expected value.

14. The method of claim 13 wherein the expected value is based at least in part on data associated with the mobile content.

15. The method of claim 1 wherein the content is an advertisement.

16. The method of claim 1 wherein the content is a sponsored content.

17. The method of claim 1 wherein the content is presented based at least in part on contextual information relating to a website content.

18. The method of claim 17 wherein the contextual information is a link structure.

19. The method of claim 17 wherein the contextual information is a inbound link.

20. The method of claim 17 wherein the contextual information is a outbound link.

21. The method of claim 17 wherein the contextual information is a link.
