Abstract

According to an aspect of the invention, there is provided an information processing apparatus including: a transmission unit configured to transmit an information acquiring request which acquires first information indicating whether or not a predetermined standard for limiting copy of audio data is supported by a terminal device to which the audio data is transferred; a judgment unit configured to judge whether or not the terminal device supports the predetermined standard, based on the first information included in information acquiring response to the information acquiring request from the terminal device; a display unit configured to display an icon indicating that the information processing apparatus is connected to the terminal device via the wireless communication; and a control unit to control, based on a judgment result by the judgment unit, a change of display of the icon.

Claims

1. An information processing apparatus comprising:

a transmission unit configured to transmit an information acquiring request which acquires first information indicating whether or not a predetermined standard for limiting copy of audio data is supported by a terminal device to which the audio data is transferred;

a judgment unit configured to judge whether or not the terminal device supports the predetermined standard, based on the first information included in information acquiring response to the information acquiring request from the terminal device;

a display unit configured to display an icon indicating that the information processing apparatus is connected to the terminal device via the wireless communication; and

a control unit to control, based on a judgment result by the judgment unit, a change of display of the icon.

2. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the transmission unit transmits the information acquiring request, when connection processing is started from the information processing apparatus to the terminal device.

3. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the transmission unit transmits the information acquiring request, when connecting processing is started from the terminal device to the information processing apparatus.

4. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the transmission unit transmits the information acquiring request, when a produced link loss is recovered.

The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein, if the judgment unit judges that the terminal device supports the predetermined system, the control unit changes the display of the icon so as to indicate the connecting state where the information processing is connected to the terminal device via the wireless communication and indicate that the terminal device supports the predetermined standard.

6. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein, when link loss occurs in the wireless communication, the control unit changes the display of the icon so as to indicate that the link loss occurs.

The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein, if the judgment unit judges that the terminal device does not support the predetermined standard, the control unit continues the display of the icon so as to indicate that the information processing apparatus is connected to the terminal device via the wireless communication.

8. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the predetermined standard for preventing copy of audio data is Serial Copy Management System-T.
