Abstract

A display control device includes a position specifying unit, an image specifying unit and a controller. The position specifying unit specifies a position of a second apparatus on a display screen of a first apparatus. The image specifying unit specifies one of an image displayed on a display screen of the second apparatus and an image that is designated from among two or more images displayed on the display screen of the second apparatus. The controller controls such that a certain image according to the image specified by the image specifying unit is displayed at a certain position on the display screen of the first apparatus according to the position of the second apparatus specified by the position specifying unit.

Claims

1. A display control device comprising:

a position specifying unit that specifies a position of a second apparatus on a display screen of a first apparatus;

an image specifying unit that specifies one of an image displayed on a display screen of the second apparatus and an image that is designated from among two or more images displayed on the display screen of the second apparatus; and

a controller that controls such that a certain image according to the image specified by the image specifying unit is displayed at a certain position on the display screen of the first apparatus according to the position of the second apparatus specified by the position specifying unit.

2. The display control device according to claim 1, wherein

the image specifying unit specifies the image displayed on the display screen of the second apparatus, and

the certain image is the same image as the image specified by the image specifying unit.

3. The display control device according to claim 1, wherein

the image specifying unit specifies the image that is designated from among the two or more images displayed on the display screen of the second apparatus, and

the certain image is different from the image specified by the image specifying unit.

4. The display control device according to claim 1, wherein the controller controls such that the certain image is displayed in a state where an upper side of the certain image is oriented to a direction along which the display screen of the second apparatus is usually viewed.

5. The display control device according to claim 1, wherein

the certain image is an image having a predetermined first relationship with the image specified by the image specifying unit, and

the certain position is a position having a second relationship in arrangement, according to the predetermined first relationship, with the position of the second apparatus specified by the position specifying unit.

6. The display control device according to claim 1, wherein

the certain image includes two images preceding and following the image specified by the image specifying unit in a predetermined sequence relationship, and

the certain position includes two positions that are symmetrical with the position of the second apparatus specified by the position specifying unit as a center.

7. The display control device according to claim 1, further comprising:

an orientation specifying unit that specifies an orientation of the second apparatus on the display screen of the first apparatus, wherein

the controller controls such that the certain image is displayed in accordance with the orientation of the second apparatus specified by the orientation specifying unit.

8. The display control device according to claim 1, wherein the position specifying unit specifies the position of the second apparatus based on information that is acquired when the first apparatus acquires information retained by the second apparatus.

9. The display control device according to claim 1, wherein the position specifying unit specifies the position of the second apparatus based on information that is acquired when the second apparatus acquires information retained by the first apparatus.

10. The display control device according to claim 1, further comprising:

a recognition unit that recognizes change in the image displayed on the display screen of the second apparatus, wherein

the controller controls such that the certain image, according to an image displayed on the display screen of the second apparatus after the change recognized by the recognition unit is made, is displayed at the certain position on the display screen of the first apparatus.

11. A display comprising:

a display unit that displays an image on a display screen;

a position specifying unit that specifies a position of a specific apparatus on the display screen;

an image specifying unit that specifies one of an image displayed by the specific apparatus and an image that is designated from among two or more images displayed by the specific apparatus;

a controller that controls the display unit so as to display a certain image according to the image specified by the image specifying unit is displayed at a certain position on the display screen of the display unit according to the position of the specific apparatus specified by the position specifying unit.

12. The display according to claim 11, wherein

the image specifying unit specifies the image displayed by the specific apparatus, and

the certain image is the same image as the image specified by the image specifying unit.

13. The display according to claim 11, wherein

the image specifying unit specifies the image that is designated from among the two or more images displayed by the specific apparatus, and

the certain image is different from the image specified by the image specifying unit.

14. A display comprising:

a display unit that displays an image on a substantially horizontal display screen; and

a controller, wherein in response to one of (i) an operation of placing a specific apparatus on the display screen in a state where a first image is displayed on the specific apparatus and (ii) an operation of designating a second image from among two or more images to display the designated second image on the specific apparatus in a state where the specific apparatus is placed on the display screen, the controller controls the display unit so as to display one of (i) the first image and (ii) a third image relating to the designated second image at a certain position on the display screen, with the first image or the designated second image being displayed on the specific apparatus.

15. The display according to claim 14, wherein in response to the operation of placing a specific apparatus on the display screen in the state where the first image is displayed on the specific apparatus, the controller controls the display unit so as to display the first image at the certain position on the display screen with the first image being displayed on the specific apparatus.

16. The display according to claim 14, wherein in response to the operation of designating the second image from among the two or more images to display the designated second image on the specific apparatus in the state where the specific apparatus is placed on the display screen, the controller controls the display unit so as to display (ii) the third image at the certain position on the display screen, with the designated second image being displayed on the specific apparatus.

17. A display system comprising:

a first display having a first display screen;

a second display having a second display screen; and

a controller that controls the first display and the second display, wherein

the first display transmits a position of the second display on the first display screen to the controller,

the second display transmits to the controller information concerning one of (i) a first image displayed on the second display screen of the second display and (ii) a second image that is designated from among two or more images displayed on the second display screen, and

the controller controls such that a certain image according to the information transmitted from the second display is displayed at a certain position on the first display screen according to the position of the second display transmitted from the first display.

18. The display system according to claim 17, wherein

the second display transmits to the controller the information concerning the first image, and

the certain image is the same image as the first image.

19. The display system according to claim 17, wherein

the second display transmits to the controller the information concerning the second image, and

the certain image is different from the second image.

20. A display system comprising:

a first display having a first display screen;

a second display having a second display screen; and

a controller that controls the first display and the second display, wherein

the second display transmits a position of the second display on the first display screen to the controller,

the second display transmits to the controller information concerning one of (i) a first image displayed on the second display screen and (ii) a second image designated from among two or more images displayed on the second display screen, and

the controller controls such that a certain image according to the information transmitted from the second display is displayed at a certain position on the first display screen according to the position of the second display transmitted from the second display.

21. The display system according to claim 20, wherein

the second display transmits to the controller the information concerning the first image, and

the certain image is the same image as the first image.

22. The display system according to claim 20, wherein

the second display transmits to the controller the information concerning the second image, and

the certain image is different from the second image.

23. A computer-readable medium storing a program that causes a computer to execute a display process, the display process comprising:

specifying a position of a second apparatus on a display screen of a first apparatus;

specifying one of (i) an image displayed on a display screen of the second apparatus and (ii) an image that is designated from among two or more images displayed on the display screen of the second apparatus; and

controlling such that a certain image according to the specified image is displayed at a certain position on the display screen of the first apparatus according to the specified position of the second apparatus.

24. The computer-readable medium according to claim 23, wherein

the image displayed on the display screen of the second apparatus is specified, and

the certain image is the same image as the specified image.

25. The display system according to claim 23, wherein

the image that is designated from among the two or more images is specified, and

the certain image is different from the specified image.
