At least some of the audio parameters can be loaded into the digital signal processor during operation of the electronic device either from the auxiliary device or from a writeable mass storage.

a microcontroller; a memory, operatively associated with the microcontroller, configured to store at least one audio parameter relating to audio properties of the auxiliary device and associated with the operation of the auxiliary device to control the processing of audio signals in a digital signal processor of at least one other device when the auxiliary device is connected to the at least one other device; a connection configured to connect the auxiliary device with the other device; and an interface within said microcontroller configured to send the at least one audio parameter from the auxiliary device to the other device.
