1. A method for conveying complex or large amounts of data to a user in a readily understandable fashion, the method comprising:
- a) providing a computerized graphical user interface for displaying information to a user;
b) providing a reference database containing data pertaining to a field of endeavor engaged in by a user, said reference database being stored on an electronic medium in communication with said computerized graphical user interface;
c) streamlining by an automated process said data contained in said reference database such that at least a portion of said data is identified as being that which is pertinent to a problem being addressed by said user;
d) displaying with said computerized graphical user interface at least a portion of the data identified as being that which is pertinent to a problem being addressed by said user; and
e) displaying to said user with said computerized graphical user interface a graphical timeline illustrating a history of said problem being addressed by said user,wherein said data and said graphical timeline are displayed concurrently.
