Abstract

Barcode reader, location finder, Global Positioning System (GPS), navigational interactive Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA), Global Mobile System (GSM), spread spectrum Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) wireless and wired communication systems. Processors and readers for processing and reading barcode signals, location finder and user signals. Processed and filtered cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase filtered signals and processed Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (OFDM) or Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) filtered signals. Quadrature and polar modulated signals provided for signal transmission and reception. Receiver for reception of transmitted signal with a filter which is mis-matched to the filter used for processing and filtering cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase filtered signal. Processed cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase filtered signal with Time Constrained (TCS) waveform and cascaded Long Response (LR) filtered signals.

Claims

1. A system comprising:

a first processor and reader processing and reading barcode and processing location finder and user signal;

a second processor and filter for processing and filtering processed barcode, location finder and user signal into processed cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase filtered signal and into processed Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (OFDM) or Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) filtered signal; and

a third processor for processing first and second processor processed signals and providing third processor processed signal to a signal transmitter and receiver for transmission and reception of the third processor provided signal.

5. The system of claim 1 wherein said receiver for reception of the transmitted signal. comprises a filter which is mis-matched to the filter used for processing and filtering cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase filtered signal.

6. The system of claim 1 wherein processed cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase filtered signal comprise processed Time Constrained (TCS) waveform and cascaded Long Response (LR) filtered signals.

7. The system of claim 1 wherein said cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase filtered signal is a Global Mobile System (GSM) signal.

8. The system of claim 1 wherein said signal transmitter comprises a linearly amplified transmitter or a transmitter having a linearized amplifier for transmission of the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (OFDM) or Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) signal and a non-linearly amplified transmitter for transmission of the cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase filtered signal.

9. The system of claim 1 wherein said Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (OFDM) or Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) signal is a Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi) or a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) or a Wide Area Network processed signal.

2. A system comprising:

a first processor for processing barcode, location finder and user signal;

a second processor, filter and quadrature modulator processing and filtering processed barcode, location finder and user signal into cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase filtered baseband signal and quadrature modulating processed filtered baseband signal;

a spread spectrum processor and modulator processing and modulating processed barcode, location finder and user signal into spread spectrum modulated signal; and

a connection circuit for connecting cross-correlated modulated signal to a first transmitter and spread spectrum modulated signal to a second transmitter, wherein said first and second transmitters are operated in different radio frequency (RF) bands.

10. The system of claim 2 wherein said first transmitter comprises a non-linear amplifier and said second transmitter a linearized amplifier.

11. The system of claim 2 wherein said cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase filtered baseband signal comprises processed cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase shaped Time Constrained (TCS) and cascaded Long Response (LR) filtered signals.

12. The system of claim 2 wherein said spread spectrum processed modulated signal comprises cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase shaped Time Constrained (TCS) and cascaded Long Response (LR) filtered signals.

13. The system of claim 2 wherein said spread spectrum processor and modulator for processing and modulating processed modulated signal comprises spread spectrum processors for spread spectrum processing and modulating two distinct bit rate and two distinct modulation format spread spectrum modulated signals.

3. A system comprising:

a first processor for processing barcode, location finder and user signal;

a second processor and a polar modulator for processing and modulating processed barcode, location finder and user signal into a polar modulated signal and providing polar modulated user signal;

a Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (OFDM) or Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) modulator for modulating user signal into a OFDM or OFDMA modulated signal; and

a selector selecting and providing the polar modulated or the OFDM or OFDMA modulated or both the polar modulated and the OFDM or OFDMA signal to a signal transmitter and receiver for transmission and reception of the selected modulated signal.

14. The system of claim 3 wherein said receiver for reception of the polar modulated signal comprises a filter and processor for providing filtered, processed cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase signals.

15. The system of claim 3 wherein said Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplex (OFDM) or Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) signal is comprises cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase signals.

16. The system of claim 3 wherein said location finder signal is a signal received from a Global Positioning System (GPS) transmitter.

4. A system comprising:

a processor for processing barcode, location finder aid user signal;

a processor and a first modulator for processing and polar modulating processed barcode, location finder and user signal into a first bit rate polar modulated signal and providing polar modulated user signal;

a processor and a second modulator for processing and modulating processed user signal; and

a circuit for providing the polar modulated signal to a first transmitter and the second modulated signal to a second transmitter.

17. The system of claim 4 wherein said processor and second modulator for processing and modulating processed user signal comprises a processor and filter for providing processed and filtered cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase signals.

18. The system of claim 4 wherein said first bit rate polar modulated signal is a Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) signal.

19. The system of claim 4 wherein said circuit for providing the polar modulated signal to a first transmitter transmits a signal to a receiver, said receiver comprising a demodulator and filter for signal demodulation and a filter and for providing filtered, processed cross-correlated in-phase and quadrature-phase signals.

20. The system of claim 4 wherein said location finder signal comprises a signal received from a Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite system and from a terrestrial based non-satellite system.
