- a transmit/receive circuit that is operable to transmit/receive wireless signals to/from a wireless communications network;
a user interface; and
a control processor that receives signals from the transmit/receive circuit, the signals comprising an audio signal to be provided to a user through said user interface,wherein said control processor is operable to shift a first frequency band of said audio signal to a second frequency band based on predetermined audio signal modification parameters prior to providing said audio signal to said user interface, and wherein said audio signal modification parameters are determined based on the hearing ability of the user.
