First Claim
1. An image processing system comprising:
- (i) an image photography section which acquires a spectroscopic image, said image photography section comprising;
an illumination light source which illuminates an object and which comprises a plurality of light-emitting elements that perform light emission of a plurality of different spectroscopic distribution characteristics that are mutually independent in at least a visible light range;
a photography optical system which forms an object image,an image pickup element section which outputs an image signal by picking up the object image formed by the photography optical system,a mode selecting section which selects a desired capture mode from a plurality of capture modes which capture an image of the object in a plurality of different aspects each corresponding to one of a plurality of light emission modes that cause the plurality of light-emitting elements to emit light in a plurality of different aspects; and
a mode display section which displays mode-related information each corresponding to the plurality of capture modes; and
(ii) an image processing section which performs a desired image computation from the image signal outputted from the image photography section;
wherein, when any of the plurality of capture modes is selected by the mode selecting section, the image photography section selects a light emission mode that corresponds to the selected capture mode from among the plurality of light emission modes, and the mode display section displays the mode-related information that corresponds to the selected capture mode; and
wherein the image processing section includes an image discrimination computation section which computes classification data of color of the object from the image signal.

An image processing system which performs photography of the teeth of a patient while causing a plurality of illumination light LEDs of different wavelengths to emit light by means of a photography device when producing a crown repair or denture of the patient, whereby image data are acquired. The image data are transmitted to a dental filing system constituting a processing device where color reproduction data are determined through computation. In addition, color reproduction data are transmitted to the dental technician'"'"'s office via a public switched network. A repair material compound ratio calculation database is searched and compound data for a material that matches the hue of the patient'"'"'s teeth is retrieved, so that a crown repair or denture or the like that very closely matches the color of the patient'"'"'s teeth can be produced.

1. An image processing system comprising:

(i) an image photography section which acquires a spectroscopic image, said image photography section comprising; an illumination light source which illuminates an object and which comprises a plurality of light-emitting elements that perform light emission of a plurality of different spectroscopic distribution characteristics that are mutually independent in at least a visible light range; a photography optical system which forms an object image, an image pickup element section which outputs an image signal by picking up the object image formed by the photography optical system, a mode selecting section which selects a desired capture mode from a plurality of capture modes which capture an image of the object in a plurality of different aspects each corresponding to one of a plurality of light emission modes that cause the plurality of light-emitting elements to emit light in a plurality of different aspects; and a mode display section which displays mode-related information each corresponding to the plurality of capture modes; and (ii) an image processing section which performs a desired image computation from the image signal outputted from the image photography section; wherein, when any of the plurality of capture modes is selected by the mode selecting section, the image photography section selects a light emission mode that corresponds to the selected capture mode from among the plurality of light emission modes, and the mode display section displays the mode-related information that corresponds to the selected capture mode; and wherein the image processing section includes an image discrimination computation section which computes classification data of color of the object from the image signal. - View Dependent Claims (2, 3, 4, 5, 6)

7. An in-house processing system comprising:

(i) an image photography section which acquires a spectroscopic image, said image photography section comprising; an illumination light source which illuminates an object and which comprises a plurality of light-emitting elements that perform light emission of a plurality of different spectroscopic distribution characteristics that are mutually independent in at least a visible light range; a photography optical system which forms an object image; and an image pickup element section which outputs an image signal by picking up the object image formed by the photography optical system; (ii) a portable phone device connected to the image photography section, said portable phone device comprising; a mode selecting section which selects a desired capture mode from a plurality of capture modes which capture an image of the object in a plurality of different aspects each corresponding to one of a plurality of light emission modes that cause the plurality of light-emitting elements to emit light in a plurality of different aspects; and a mode display section which displays mode-related information each corresponding to the plurality of capture modes; (iii) an in-house communication device which receives, from the portable phone device, data of the spectroscopic image photographed of an affected part of a patient acquired by the image photography section; and (iv) a processing device which acquires color reproduction image data from a signal of the spectroscopic image received via the in-house communication device; wherein, when any of the plurality of capture modes is selected by the mode selecting section, the image photography section selects a light emission mode that corresponds to the selected capture mode from among the plurality of light emission modes, and the mode display section display the mode-related information that corresponds to the selected capture mode. - View Dependent Claims (8)
