49. A method for sequestering carbon dioxide produced by a carbon dioxide source, comprising
obtaining silicate mineral particles of a desired size classified from mining tailings or shines; -
combining said silicate mineral particles with water to form a slurry; and reacting said particles in said slurry with carbon dioxide containing emissions from said carbon dioxide source to form mineral carbonates.
