1. An earpiece, comprising:

  • an electromechanical acoustic transducer that has a diaphragm, and generates a sound by vibrating the diaphragm in response to an electric signal;

    a case that contains the electromechanical acoustic transducer;

    a sound hole that is provided at a position of the case so as to face to the electromechanical acoustic transducer; and

    a holding member that holds the electromechanical acoustic transducer in the case, and surrounds a periphery of the sound hole,wherein the electromechanical acoustic transducer compensated a sound pressure-frequency characteristic based on a difference between the sound pressure-frequency characteristic derived when the sound is leaked from a gap between an ear and the case and the sound pressure-frequency characteristic derived when no sound is leaked.
