1. A method of producing a microarray, comprising:

  • providing a nonporous solid substrate having an amino functional group attached thereto;

    dissolving a nucleic acid functionalized with an amino group in a solution comprising polyethylene glycol (PEG) or a derivative of PEG to form a solution containing the nucleic acid and the PEG or the derivative of PEG; and

    transferring the solution containing the nucleic acid and the PEG or the derivative of PEG to the substrate, in order to noncovalently immobilize the nucleic acid on the substrate via noncovalent intervention of the PEG or the derivative of PEG.
