1. A self-expanding bioabsorbable support for a body conduit comprising:
- a substantially tubular framework delimiting a multiplicity of fenestrations;
wherein said framework is continuous, non-filamentous, non-braided, and non-interlaced;
wherein said framework is made of a non-blended hydrolysable co-polymeric material;
wherein said framework expands radially from a compressed configuration to an uncompressed configuration below normal human body temperature without requisite for an externally applied force and without requisite for a thermal transition of said polymeric material; and
wherein said framework does not change axial length following compaction or radial expansion of said framework.
