a driver operable to insert an intraosseous device into a bone and associated bone marrow of the patient;
a drug delivery slot having at least one dose of a drug disposed therein;
a drug delivery port operable to communicate the drug from the drug delivery slot to the patient via the intraosseous device; and
a voltage source operable to deliver an electric shock to the patient via the two electrodes.
