Abstract

A document binding system for efficiently securing a plurality of documents together in a professional manner. The document binding system generally includes a first support including at least one post and a second support including at least one opening. The post extends outwardly from the first support and the opening extends through the second support. The post includes a plurality of teeth ending along an outer surface of the post and the opening includes a locking member extending within, wherein the locking member selectively engages at least one of the teeth to secure the first support to the second support, wherein a plurality of documents are preferably selectively secured between the first support and the second support.

Claims

1. A document binding system, comprising:

a first support including at least one post, wherein said at least one post extends outwardly from said first support;

wherein said at least one post includes a plurality of teeth, wherein said plurality of teeth extend along an outer surface of said at least one post; and

a second support including at least one opening, wherein said at least one opening extends through said second support;

wherein said at least one opening includes a locking member extending within said at least one opening;

wherein said locking member selectively engages at least one of said plurality of teeth.

2. The document binding system of claim 1, wherein said plurality of teeth are equidistantly spaced along said at least one post.

3. The document binding system of claim 1, wherein said plurality of teeth engage said locking member in a ratcheting manner.

4. The document binding system of claim 1, wherein said plurality of teeth circumscribe said at least one post.

5. The document binding system of claim 1, wherein said second support includes at least one recessed portion surrounding said at least one opening and opposite said first support.

6. The document binding system of claim 5, including at least one cover to be selectively positioned within said at least one recessed portion.

7. The document binding system of claim 6, wherein said at least one cover conceals said at least one opening.

8. The document binding system of claim 6, wherein an outer side of said cover is comprised of a curved convex configuration.

9. The document binding system of claim 6, wherein said at least one recessed portion includes a depression extending within said second support and wherein said cover includes a lip, wherein said lip is positioned within said depression.

10. The document binding system of claim 6, wherein said at least one recessed portion includes an indenture extending outwardly from said at least one recessed portion for prying up on said cover.

11. The document binding system of claim 1, wherein a first inner side of said first support is comprised of a planar configuration.

12. The document binding system of claim 1, wherein a first outer side of said first support is comprised of a curved convex configuration.

13. The document binding system of claim 1, wherein a second inner side of said second support is comprised of a planar configuration.

14. The document binding system of claim 1, wherein a second outer side of said second support is comprised of a curved convex configuration.

15. A document binding system, comprising:

a first support including a plurality of posts, wherein said plurality of posts extend outwardly from said first support;

wherein said plurality of posts each include a plurality of teeth, wherein said plurality of teeth extend along an outer surface of said plurality of posts; and

a second support including plurality of openings, wherein said plurality of openings extend through said second support;

wherein said plurality of openings each include a locking member extending within said plurality of openings;

wherein said locking member selectively engages at least one of said plurality of teeth.

16. The document binding system of claim 15, wherein said plurality of posts are distally spaced upon said first support.

17. The document binding system of claim 15, wherein said second support includes plurality of recessed portions surrounding said plurality of openings and opposite said first support.

18. The document binding system of claim 17, including plurality of covers to be selectively positioned within said plurality of recessed portions.

19. The document binding system of claim 18, wherein said plurality of recessed portions each include a depression extending within said second support and wherein said plurality of covers each include a lip, wherein said lip is positioned within said depression.

20. A document binding system, comprising:

a first support including a plurality of posts, wherein said plurality of posts extend outwardly from said first support;

wherein said plurality of posts each include a plurality of teeth, wherein said plurality of teeth extend along an outer surface of said plurality of posts;

wherein said plurality of posts are distally spaced upon said first support;

a second support including plurality of openings, wherein said plurality of openings extend through said second support;

wherein said plurality of openings each include a locking member extending within said plurality of openings;

wherein said locking member selectively engages at least one of said plurality of teeth;

wherein said plurality of teeth are equidistantly spaced along said plurality of posts;

wherein said plurality of teeth engage said locking member in a ratcheting manner;

wherein said second support includes plurality of recessed portions surrounding said plurality of openings opposite said first support; and

a plurality of covers to be selectively positioned within said plurality of recessed portions;

wherein said plurality of recessed portions each include a depression extending within said second support and wherein said plurality of covers each include a lip, wherein said lip is positioned within said depression;

wherein said plurality of recessed portions each include an indenture extending outwardly from said plurality of recessed portions for prying up on said cover;

wherein a first inner side of said first support is comprised of a planar configuration and wherein a first outer side of said first support is comprised of a curved convex configuration;

wherein a second inner side of said second support is comprised of a planar configuration and wherein a second outer side of said second support is comprised of a curved convex configuration.
