Abstract

The subject matter of the invention is an inverter including a casing (1), said casing (1) including at least two casing chambers (2, 3) that are each closable through a separate cover (2a, 3a).

Claims

1. An inverter for a PV installation, comprising a casing (1), characterized in that said casing (1) includes at least two casing chambers (2, 3) that are each closable by a separate cover (2a, 3a), said cover having to be removed before said casing chamber (2) can be opened.

2. The inverter as set forth in claim 1, characterized in that the one first casing chamber (2) accommodates the electronic power components (4), at least one electrical connection (108;

30, 8) being provided from at least a second casing chamber (3) into said first casing chamber (2), said electrical connection having an IP rating that corresponds at least to the one of the first casing chamber (2).

3. The inverter as set forth in claim 2, characterized in that the electrical connection includes at least one cable feedthrough (10).

4. The inverter as set forth in claim 3, characterized in that the first casing chamber (2) includes a mains connecting terminal (8) for connecting a cable.

5. The inverter as set forth in claim 2, characterized in that the electrical connection includes a socket (20) that is disposed in the wall (5) to the first casing chamber (2), said socket (20) serving to receive a plug (21).

6. The inverter as set forth in claim 2, characterized in that the electrical connection includes a lead-through terminal (30) that is disposed in the wall (5) to the first casing chamber (2).

The inverter as set forth in claim 6, characterized in that the lead-through terminal (30) comprises a terminal body (31), said terminal body (31) comprising a shield (32) for abutment against the wall (5) of the first casing chamber (2), said terminal body (31) comprising a clamping member (40) through which said shield (32) of said terminal body (31) is pressed against said wall (5).

8. The inverter as set forth in claim 7, characterized in that the clamping member (40) is configured to be a clip that may be slidably received by the terminal body (31).

9. The inverter as set forth in claim 8, characterized in that the clip (40) is configured like a U-shaped bar, the legs (41) of said bar (40) flaring toward the bight segment (43) of said bar (40) when said bar (40) is viewed from the side.

The inverter as set forth in claim 8, characterized in that, for the bar (40) to be slidably received by the terminal body (31), said terminal body (31) comprises rail-shaped seats (34) for the legs (41) of said bar (40), an abutment edge (35) for said bar (40) being respectively provided on the portion turned away from the shield (32) on the rail-shaped seat (34), said abutment edge (35) being configured to taper according to the configuration of the legs (43) of said bar (40) on the terminal body (31).

11. The inverter as set forth in claim 8, characterized in that the bar (40) is adapted to be snap-fit to the terminal body (31).

12. The inverter as set forth in claim 7, characterized in that the shield (32) comprises a seal (33) on its side turned toward the wall (5).

13. The inverter as set forth in claim 1, characterized in that the electronic power components (4) are connected to the mains on the AC side through the electrical connection.
