Abstract

A gaming machine having a display that displays a determined screen including a character, during execution of a game, a touch panel sensor, disposed above the display, that is capable of detecting the contact position, the position of the character contacted by a player, and a CPU that determines the contact position of the character as well as the contact mode, and that displays an image on the display, that is changed based on the result of this determination.

Claims

1. A gaming method, comprising:

displaying a determined image including a character image, before a game commences;

determining whether a game value has been inserted into the gaming machine; and

determining, when it is determined that the game value has been inserted, a contact part of the character image coordinated to a contact position.

2. The gaming method according to claim 1, further comprising:

determining a contact mode in which the contact part of the character image coordinated to the contact position is contacted.

3. The gaming method according to claim 2, wherein the contact mode is determined based on at least one of a contact time, a contact frequency, a contact interval, and a trajectory.

4. The gaming method according to claim 1, further comprising:

selecting a performance pattern based on the determined contact part of the character image coordinated to the contact position, and the determined contact mode.

5. The gaming method according to claim 4, further comprising:

displaying a character image in accordance with the selected performance pattern.
