Abstract

Methods and apparatuses share shared content from a presenter device with an attendee device; display the shared content on the attendee device; display an indicator associated with the shared content on the presenter device; and display a control tab configured to change a shared status.

Claims

1. A method comprising:

sharing shared content from a presenter device with an attendee device;

displaying the shared content on the attendee device;

displaying an indicator associated with the shared content on the presenter device; and

displaying a control tab configured to change a shared status.

2. The method according to claim 1 wherein the indicator is a frame surrounding the shared content.

3. The method according to claim 2 wherein the indicator is a color.

4. The method according to claim 1 further comprising displaying the shared content on the presenter device.

5. The method according to claim 1 further comprising displaying unshared content on the presenter device in a window separate from the shared content.

6. A method comprising:

displaying a primary window and a secondary window within a presenter device wherein each of the primary window and the secondary window is associated with a shared status;

displaying a control tab on the primary window within the presenter device to allow content within primary window to switch the shared status; and

selectively displaying one of the primary window and the secondary window on an attendee device based on the shared status of the primary window and the secondary window.

7. The method according to claim 6 further comprising detecting a position of the first window and the second window to determine a primary window and a secondary window.

8. The method according to claim 6 where in the shared status is one of shared content and unshared content.

9. The method according to claim 6 further comprising displaying an indicator associated with the shared status of the primary window on the presenter device.

10. The method according to claim 6 further comprising displaying an indicator associated with the shared status of the secondary window on the presenter device.

11. A system, comprising:

a window detection module configured to detect a shared window and a hidden window;

an internal render module configured to display the shared window and the hidden window to a presenter device wherein the shared window and the hidden window are displayed with an indicator associated with a shared status; and

an external render module configured to display the shared window to an attendee device.

12. The system according to claim 11 further comprising a window selection module configured to identify the hidden window.

13. The system according to claim 11 wherein the indicator is a frame around the shared window and the hidden window.

14. The system according to claim 11 wherein the internal render module is configured to display a control tab on one of the shared window and the hidden window on the presenter device where in the control tab is configured to change the shared status of the respective window.

15. The system according to claim 11 further comprising an interface module configured to allow the attendee device to modify the shared window.
