1. A refrigeration device having a control system for controlling a compressor of the refrigeration device, the control system being switchable among at least three states in response to user commands, the three states comprising a thermostat control state in which the compressor is turned on and off to maintain the interior of the refrigeration device near a target temperature, an off state in which the compressor is maintained continuously off for a first predetermined period of time, and an on state in which the compressor is maintained continuously on for a predetermined period of time.

Abstract
A refrigeration device may provide a snooze feature, in which the compressor of the refrigeration device is turned off for a predetermined period of time in response to a user command. The refrigeration device may also provide a quick chill feature, in which the compressor of the refrigeration device is turned on for a predetermined period of time in response to a user command. User commands for controlling the operation of the refrigeration device may be provide through a control panel, a remote control or a network interface.
