1. A device for nullifying an exception RFID tag associated with a product or package, said device comprising:
- a label with a replacement RFID tag configured thereon, said label configured for placement on a package or product adjacent to the exception RFID tag; and
an electromagnetic shield configured on said label, said electromagnetic shield having a size and configuration so as to extend over the exception RFID tag when said label is placed adjacent thereto so as to disable subsequent reading of the exception RFID tag.
