1. A medical electrical lead, comprising:

  • a first lead having a first electrode coupled adjacent a distal end portion thereof, said distal end portion of said first lead being anchorable in the coronary sinus of a patient; and

    a second lead coupled with and moveable along said first lead, said second lead having a second electrode located thereon wherein the position of the first and second electrodes may be varied relative to one another by movement of said second lead along said first lead,wherein said first lead includes a core of electrically conductive material surrounded by a layer of insulative material,wherein said first lead includes an expandable helical coil coupled to its distal end and a fixed helix for attachment to a heart tissue.
