- requesting a wireless connection between the mobile communication device and a sender;
receiving contact information relating to a contact known to the mobile communication device from the server, said contact information including contact identification information;
storing said contact information and said contact identification information on the wireless communication device pending receipt of further communication data from said contact;
comparing said contact identification information stored by the mobile communication device and the farther communication data; and
presenting a result of said comparing to a user of said mobile communication device.

3. A method for tracking and responding to failed calls with a contact, comprising:

on a mobile communication devices determining that a call over a wireless connection has failed; storing information indicative of one or more parameters relating to the failed call in said mobile communication device; receiving on the mobile communication device status information from a server to track a status corresponding to the one or more parameters relating to the failed call; and generating an indication that according to the received status information, communication corresponding to the failed call may be attempted or resumed. - View Dependent Claims (4, 5, 6)
