Abstract

The present invention provides a rubber composition for a tire containing an epoxidized natural rubber, sulfur and a fatty acid metal salt, in which the metal of the fatty acid metal salt is a metal belonging to Group 12, 13 or 14 of the periodic table. Here, the fatty acid metal salt is preferably at least one kind selected from the group consisting of zinc stearate, aluminum stearate and tin stearate. Also, the present invention provides a tire manufactured by using the foregoing rubber composition for a tire.

Claims

1. A rubber composition for a tire comprising:

an epoxidized natural rubber;

sulfur; and

a fatty acid metal salt;

wherein the metal of said fatty acid metal salt is a metal belonging to Group 12, 13 or 14 of the periodic table.

2. The rubber composition for a tire according to claim 1, wherein said fatty acid metal salt is at least one kind selected from the group consisting of zinc stearate, aluminum stearate and tin stearate.

3. A tire manufactured by using the rubber composition for a tire according to claim 1.
