1. A method for implementing a self service by using a circuit switched terminal, comprising:
- receiving a self-service signaling associated with a self service from a circuit switched terminal;
converting the self-service signaling to a self service request, which is adapted to indicate an IP Multimedia Subsystem IMS network entity to conduct a service data configuration; and
sending the self service request to the IMS network entity associated with the self service.

Abstract
A method and a system for implementing a self service by using a circuit switched terminal are provided. The method includes receiving a self-service signaling associated with a self service from a circuit switched terminal; and converting the self-service signaling to a self service request, which is adapted to indicate an IMS network entity associated with the self service to conduct a service data configuration; and sending the self service request to the IMS network entity associated with the self service. The solution provided enables a user using the conventional circuit switched terminal to conveniently implement the self service such as registration activation, registration cancellation, and authentication of the self service.
