1. A method for determining hair inductive properties of a composition comprising:
- injecting a composition comprising dissociated dermal cells and epidermal cells into skin of a mammal, wherein the dermal cells are from a first species and epidermal cells are from a second species; and
wherein the first species is different from the second species; and
determining whether at least one hair follicle forms, wherein the hair follicle is associated with at least one sebaceous gland; and
wherein formation of at least one hair follicle indicates that the composition has hair inductive properties.
