Abstract

A card data storage device with detector plate is described.

The detector plate consists of a chip and a coupling loop inductively linked with the chip, wherein the coupling loop completely or partially surrounds an electrically non-conducting region of the card data storage device.

Claims

1. A card data storage device (10) with detector plates (14), wherein the detector plate (14) consists of a chip (24) and a coupling loop (26) inductively linked with the chip (24), wherein the coupling loop (26) completely or partially surrounds an electrically non-conducting region of the card data storage device (10).

2. The card data storage device (10) with detector plate (14) according to claim 1, wherein the detector plate (14) is arranged on a plastic film (28) that is adhesively bonded to the card data storage device (10).

3. The card data storage device (10) with detector plate (14) according to claim 1, wherein the coupling loop (26) of the detector plate (14) is coupled with an amplifier antenna (32).

4. The card data storage device (10) with detector plate (14) according to claim 3, wherein the coupling loop (26) of the detector plate (14) is inductively or capacitatively coupled with the amplifier antenna (32).

5. The card data storage device (10) with detector plate (14) according to claim 3, wherein the amplifier antenna is designed as an electrical antenna (18, 32).

6. The card data storage device (10) with detector plate (14) according to claim 5, wherein the electrical antenna (18) can be arranged in or on the card data storage device (10) itself.

7. The card data storage device (10) with detector plate (14) according to claim 6, wherein the electrical antenna (18) can be an element of an antenna of a detector plate (12) for the LF or HF band, with which it is functionally connected.

8. The card data storage device (10) with detector plate (14) according to claim 5, wherein the electrical antenna (32) can be arranged in or on a storage cover (30) or holder for the card data storage device (10).

9. The card data storage device (10) with detector plate (14) according to claim 3, wherein the amplifier antenna is designed as a slot antenna.

10. The card data storage device (10) with detector plate (14) according to claim 9, wherein the slot (22) of the slot antenna can itself be formed in an electrically conducting region (20) of the card data storage device (10).

11. The card data storage device (10) with detector plate (14) according to claim 9, wherein the slot of the slot antenna is arranged in an electrically conducting region of the storage cover (30) or holder for the card data storage device (10).

12. The card data storage device (10) with detector plate (14) according to claim 1, wherein with the existence of a further detector plate (12) the user data stored in the chip of the respective detector plate (12, 14) are identical.

13. The card data storage device (10) with detector plate (14) according to claim 12, wherein a chip identifier is in addition stored in the chip of the respective detector plate (12, 14).

The card data storage device (10) with detector plate (14) according to claim 1, wherein in the presence of a further detector plate (12) the user data stored in the chip of the respective detector plate (12, 14) are identical, but are coded by means of the data contents of the other chip in each case.

15. The card data storage device (10) with detector plate (14) according to claim 1, wherein the VHF coupling loop (26) is arranged on the same card insert as the LF or HF antenna (18).

16. The card data storage device (10) with detector plate (14) according to claim 1, wherein the VHF coupling loop (26) is arranged on an LF or HF interposer, which is applied to the card insert with the LF or HF antenna (18).

17. The card data storage device (10) with detector plate (14) according to claim 1, wherein the VHF coupling loop (26) is arranged on a separate interposer or card insert.

18. The card data storage device (10) with detector plate (14) according to claim 15, wherein the coupling loop (26) in general, as required or as a retrofit, is fitted with a chip (24).
