Abstract
A system comprises a vehicle seating system including a seat and at least one powered seat adjustment actuator for altering the seating position formed by the seat. Additionally, the system includes a vehicle braking system including vehicle brakes and a brake pedal. The system further includes a signal sent in response to application of the vehicle brakes and/or other triggering events, such as turn signal activation and others which leads to suspension of movement of the actuator during application of the vehicle brakes.

23. A vehicle seating system for reducing user fatigue, comprising:

a seat mountable in a vehicle having a seat bottom; at least one powered seat bottom actuator to move the seat bottom between a first position and a second position for altering the seating position formed by said seat to reduce positional fatigue; an electrical controller for activating movement of said powered seat adjustment actuators, said controller having a control period of at least ten minutes; and
,wherein said controller automatically activates said seat bottom actuator during a first movement period of said control period to move the seat bottom upward, and automatically activates said seat bottom actuator during a second movement period of said control period to move the seat bottom downward to reduce positional fatigue. - View Dependent Claims (24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33)

34. A vehicle seating system comprising:

a vehicle seat having a seat bottom and a seat back; at least one seat actuator to move the seat to reduce positional fatigue; an electrical controller for activating movement of said actuator, said controller having a control period of at least ten minutes; said control period includes alternating movement periods and stationary periods, including cycling said actuator from said first positions to said second positions and returning to said first positions; wherein said cycling includes inclining said seat back and tilting said seat bottom to reduce positional fatigue. - View Dependent Claims (35, 36)
