1. A pen for sensing coded data on a page, the coded data printed on the page as a collection of tags using invisible ink, the pen comprising:
- an elongate housing defining an internal space;
an ink marking implement movably mounted within the space and including an ink marking nib to mark the page with ink;
a sensor mounted within the space and configured to sense the coded data; and
a transmitter mounted within the space and configured wirelessly to communicate data sensed by the sensor to a printer.
