1. A broadcast receiving system, comprising:
- N number of antenna elements receiving each of the broadcast signals;
a demodulator demodulating the broadcast signal having greater signal strength among each of the received broadcast signals, wherein the broadcast signal includes mobile broadcast service data, wherein the mobile broadcast service data configures a data group, wherein the data group is divided into a plurality of regions, wherein M number of known data sequences are inserted in some regions among the plurality of regions within the data group, and wherein a transmission parameter is inserted between a first known data sequence and a second known data sequence, among the M number of known data sequences;
a transmission parameter detector detecting the transmission parameter; and
a block decoder symbol-decoding the mobile broadcast service data included in the received broadcast signal in block units, based upon the detected transmission parameter.

Abstract
A broadcast receiving system capable of receiving mobile broadcast data and a method for processing broadcast signals are disclosed. The broadcast receiving system includes N number of antenna elements, a demodulator, a transmission parameter detector, and a block decoder. The N number of antenna elements receives each of the broadcast signals. The demodulator demodulates the broadcast signal having greater signal strength among each of the received broadcast signals. The transmission parameter detector detects the transmission parameter. The block decoder symbol-decodes the mobile broadcast service data included in the received broadcast signal in block units, based upon the detected transmission parameter.
