1. A system for generating tasks to be performed by pharmacy personnel at one or more pharmacy locations, the system comprising:
- a database storing a plurality of customer profiles;
a processor executing a task list generator application configured to analyze the customer profiles in order to identify patients receiving services requiring an action to be taken by the pharmacy, determine pharmacy locations best suited to carry out the actions, and create task lists including the actions to be carried out by the pharmacy locations best suited to carry out the actions;
one or more pharmacy workstations located at the pharmacy locations; and
a webserver configured to send interface pages including the task lists over a network to one or more of the one or more pharmacy workstations where the interface pages are displayed for pharmacy personnel.

A comprehensive medication management system is disclosed. The comprehensive medication management system offers a number of compliance related services that may be offered to patients in to improve medication therapy compliance. The system identifies compliance barriers facing individual patents and recommends services designed to overcome those barriers. The system further provides feedback to patients to document their progress. The system proactively identifies patients who may benefit from compliance services and blocks their transactions until the services are explained. The point of sale block may be expanded to other classes of patients so that the transactions of other classes of patients blocked and other messages delivered or some other customized interactions carried out. The medication management system may serve as a central repository of information about a patient'"'"'s medication treatment program and the medication management system may provide quick and easy access to a patient'"'"'s entire medication history to facilitate consultations between a pharmacist and the patient. a task name associated with the one or more tasks;
a patient name associated with the one or more tasks;
contact information for contacting a patient associated with the one or more tasks;
a date by which the one or more tasks is to be completed;

performing a batch process to review patient profiles stored in a database, the patient profiles including services provided to patients and dates for performing tasks associated with the services, the batch process identifying the tasks associated with the services and the dates for performing the identified tasks; identifying pharmacy locations best suited to perform the identified tasks; generating task lists for the identified pharmacy locations, the task lists including the tasks which the identified pharmacy locations are best suited to perform; and scheduling a date and time for performing one or more tasks on the task lists at the identified pharmacy locations best suited to perform the identified tasks. - View Dependent Claims (12, 13)
