Abstract

It is an object of the present invention to provide a binder resin composition usable for an inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition which is excellent in thixotropy and storage stability, has scarcely changeable screen printability with the lapse of time, and can be fired at a low temperature, and to provide the inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition.

The present invention is directed to a binder resin composition, which contains a binder comprising a (meth)acrylic resin, an organic compound having 3 or more hydroxyl groups, and an organic solvent, the content of the organic compound having 3 or more hydroxyl groups being 0.1 to 15 parts by weight to 100 parts by weight of the (meth)acrylic resin.

Claims

1. A binder resin composition,

which contains a binder comprising a (meth)acrylic resin, an organic compound having 3 or more hydroxyl groups, and an organic solvent, the content of the organic compound having 3 or more hydroxyl groups being 0.1 to 15 parts by weight to 100 parts by weight of the (meth)acrylic resin.

2. The binder resin composition according to claim 1,

wherein the (meth)acrylic resin has a constituent unit derived from a (meth)acrylate monomer having 10 or less carbon atoms in the ester residue and a polyoxyalkylene (meth)acrylate monomer.

3. The binder resin composition according to claim 2,

wherein the polyoxyalkylene chain of the polyoxyalkylene (meth)acrylate monomer is polypropylene glycol.

4. The binder resin composition according to claim 1,

wherein the (meth)acrylic resin is a block copolymer or a graft copolymer.

5. The binder resin composition according to claim 1,

which further contains an organic fine particle.

6. The binder resin composition according to claim 5,

wherein the organic fine particle is a crosslinked fine particle.

7. The binder resin composition according to claim 5,

wherein the organic fine particle is a (meth)acrylic resin fine particle having a constituent unit derived from a (meth)acrylate monomer having 10 or less carbon atoms in the ester residue.

8. The binder resin composition according to claim 5,

wherein the content of the organic fine particle is 0.1 to 20% by weight.

9. The binder resin composition according to claim 5,

wherein the volume average particle diameter of the organic fine particle is 0.1 to 10 μ

m.

10. An inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition,

which contains a binder resin composition containing a binder comprising a (meth)acrylic resin, an organic compound having 3 or more hydroxyl groups and an organic solvent, and contains an inorganic fine particle,

the content of the organic compound having 3 or more hydroxyl groups being 0.1 to 15 parts by weight to 100 parts by weight of the (meth)acrylic resin.

11. The inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition according to claim 10,

wherein the (meth)acrylic resin has a constituent unit derived from a (meth)acrylate monomer having 10 or less carbon atoms in the ester residue and a polyoxyalkylene (meth)acrylate monomer.

12. The inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition according to claim 11,

wherein the polyoxyalkylene chain of the polyoxyalkylene (meth)acrylate monomer is polypropylene glycol.

13. The inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition according to claim 10,

wherein the (meth)acrylic resin is a block copolymer or a graft copolymer.

14. The inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition according to claim 10,

which further contains an organic fine particle.

15. The inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition according to claim 14,

wherein the organic fine particle is a crosslinked fine particle.

16. The inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition according to claim 14,

wherein the organic fine particle is a (meth)acrylic resin fine particle having a constituent unit derived from a (meth)acrylate monomer having 10 or less carbon atoms in the ester residue and a polyoxyalkylene (meth)acrylate monomer.

17. The inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition according to claim 14,

wherein the content of the organic fine particle is 0.1 to 20% by weight.

18. The inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition according to claim 14,

wherein the volume average particle diameter of the organic fine particle is 0.1 to 10 μ

m.

19. The inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition according to claim 10,

wherein the inorganic fine particle comprises at least one kind of compound selected from the group consisting of phosphor, metal, glass, carbon black, carbon nanotube, metal oxide, and metal complex.

20. The inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition according to claim 10,

wherein the volume average particle diameter of the inorganic fine particle is 0.1 to 10 μ

m.

21. The inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition according to claim 19,

wherein the inorganic fine particle is a phosphor.

22. The inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition according to claim 10,

wherein the inorganic fine particle is coated with a dispersant comprising a polyether and/or a polyol.

23. The inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition according to claim 10,

wherein the content of the inorganic fine particle is 10 to 60% by weight.

24. The inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition according to claim 21,

wherein the content of the phosphor is 500 parts by weight or less to 100 parts by weight of solid matter of the binder resin composition.

25. The inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition according to claim 14,

which has a viscosity of 50 Pa□

s or lower measured at 23°

C. using a B-model viscometer set at a probe rotation frequency of 30 rpm.

26. The inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition according to claim 21,

which has a chlorine atom concentration of 100 ppm or lower measured by an ion chromatogram measurement apparatus.

27. The inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition according to claim 21,

which has a chlorine atom concentration of 50 ppm or lower measured by an ion chromatogram measurement apparatus.

28. The inorganic fine particle-dispersed paste composition according to claim 21,

wherein a chlorine atom concentration measured by an ion chromatogram measurement apparatus is not more than the detection limit of the ion chromatogram measurement apparatus.
