1. A system, comprising:
- a patient medical parameter processor adapted for automatically acquiring data representing a plurality of medical parameters of a patient and processing said data for presentation to a user via a display device; and
a display processor adapted for initiating display of;
a plurality of image windows presenting processed data representing said plurality of medical parameters of said patient, said plurality of windows incorporating a single variable scale timeline; and
a plurality of user interface elements implemented using object oriented executable code, each of said plurality of user interface elements adapted to provide a user selectable single setting of image display format characteristics shared by said plurality of image windows.
