Abstract

An audio data player may include a storage unit for storing one of more sound source files containing tag information, and an extraction unit for extracting one piece of information among the tag information (e.g., information on artist, album, title, year, genre, and user preference) of the stored sound source files. A control unit may provide the tag information of each sound source file extracted by the extraction unit in the form of a list, receiving one element of the provided list, and create a playback list.

Claims

1. An audio data player, comprising:

a storage unit to store at least one sound source file that contains a tag;

an extraction unit to extract information from the tag of the stored sound source file; and

a control unit to provide the tag information of each sound source file extracted by the extraction unit in a form of a list, to receive an input regarding at least one element from the list, and to create a playback list based on the received at least one element.

2. The audio data player as claimed in claim 1, wherein the tag includes a tag identifier, tag data and a user defined field.

3. The audio data player as claimed in claim 2, wherein the tag data is information on an artist, an album, a title, a year, or a genre of the sound source file.

4. The audio data player as claimed in claim 3, wherein the control unit detects the input of the at least one element from the list and creates the playback list using sound source files that include the tag information that corresponds to the input.

The audio data player as claimed in claim 4, wherein the control unit searches for sound source files containing the inputted tag information among the sound source files stored in the storage unit, and the control unit creates the playback list to sequentially play back the searched sound source files.

6. The audio data player as claimed in claim 2, wherein the user defined field of the tag includes user preference or playback pattern information of the sound source file.

7. The audio data player as claimed in claim 6, wherein the control unit detects the input of the at least one element from the list and creates the playback list referring to the user preference and the playback pattern information in the user defined field of the tag corresponding to the input.

8. The audio data player as claimed in claim 7, wherein the extraction unit randomly extracts one piece of information from the tag.

9. The audio data player as claimed in claim 1, further comprising:

a multi-touch input unit to simultaneously receive a plurality of touches from a user; and

a controller to detect touch inputs from the multi-touch input unit and to calculate touch positions,

wherein when the controller detects the multi-touch input from the multi-touch input unit, the control unit recognizes that search keywords corresponding to the respective touch positions are selected.

10. A method of creating a playback list of an audio data player, the method comprising:

providing a selection list including tag information of a sound source files;

selecting a search keyword from the selection list; and

creating a playback list based on the selected search keyword.

11. The method as claimed in claim 10, wherein providing the selection list includes creating the selection list from tag information of sound source files stored in a sound source file database.

12. The method as claimed in claim 11, wherein providing the selection list includes creating the selection list by randomly extracting information from tags of the sound source files.

13. The method as claimed in claim 10, wherein providing the selection list includes creating the selection list using tag information selected and stored by a user from among the tags of the sound source files.

14. The method as claimed in claim 10, wherein providing the selection list includes receiving the selection list from a web server and storing the received selection list in the audio data player.

15. The method as claimed in claim 11, wherein providing the selection list includes creating the selection list by reflecting a weighting factor from the tag information of the sound source file to which the weighting factor is assigned depending on a number of times that the sound source file is selected by a user during the selecting.

16. The method as claimed in claim 10, wherein selecting the search keyword is performed by a touch input of a keyword included in the selection list.

17. The method as claimed in claim 16, wherein the touch input comprises a multi-touch input for selecting at least one search keyword.

18. The method as claimed in claim 10, wherein creating the playback list includes searching for sound source files containing tag information matching the inputted search keyword and referring to the sound source files.

19. The method as claimed in claim 18, wherein the tag information includes a user defined field where a user preference and a playback pattern information of the sound source file are recorded.

20. The method as claimed in claim 19, wherein the playback list is created based on the user preference and the playback pattern information stored in the user defined field.

21. A method of creating a playback list, the method comprising:

outputting lyric information or sound source information from an audio data player when a sound source file stored in a sound source file database is played back;

recognizing a word or phrase as a search keyword when selection of the word or phrase is detected from among the outputted lyric information or the outputted sound source information; and

creating a playback list based on the recognized word or phrase of the search keyword.

22. The method as claimed in claim 21, wherein the selection of the word or phrase is performed by a touch input of a display position of the word or phrase from among the outputted lyric information or the outputted sound source information.

23. The method as claimed in claim 22, wherein the touch input comprises a multi-touch input for selecting at least one word or phrase.
